Finished 3D render of my previous "crow's nest" post!
Also, a quick little contextual scene with some mini-pirates.
They love fermented grapes so much they sometimes just dive into the bottle until they dissolve and become one with the wine....

This sketch is called "lazy". For how i feel right now. Or more like sloppy. Anyway... it doesn't make sense because I never watch actual television anymore (or no one under 30 does probably) but ooowelll.

Wine branding

We've got a project in one of my classes the involves designing a wine brand and label (that includes inventing a name too). So, the made up story for "crow's nest" is that it comes from the vineyards on Vancouver Island, which apparently has lots of crows, or at least a few. And of course, Vancouver has a long history of trade via its huge sea port etc/., so the image of a ship fits the region pretty snug. Eventually this will be mapped onto a 3D model, put in a minimal environment and rendered, so there's more to come.
